Covid - cancellations - refunds
In the event that ministerial decrees (dpcm) prohibiting travels between regions are in force, the tenants whose arrival is on a date that is within the period in which the movement is prohibited, in case they want to proceed with the cancellation of the reservation they will receive a refund of the entire sums already paid. Refunds takes place, if requested, even if the contracts indicate otherwise.
Here is an example to explain better: if a dpcm prohibit the movement between regions from 01 May to 01 July, the tenant whose arrival day is 25 June, can cancel the booking and in this case will receive a refund of the sums already paid on the date of cancellation.
If the tenant arrives on 02 July, the rules indicated in the contract will be followed in the event of cancellation.
In general, if the tenant is unable to arrive because his day of arrival falls within a period for which a dpcm prohibits the movement between regions, the tenant in case of cancellation will receive a refund of the amounts already paid.
If the tenant proceeds with a cancellation but his arrival day does not fall within a period covered by a prohibition established by a dpcm, the rules indicated in the contract will be followed.
Same principle in case of prohibition of movement between nations.
